Olinpump is currently completing EPA and Kubota factory application approval testing for a new Kubota V5009 powered 5-180CA delivering the most efficiency of any auger cast pile pump on the market. The updated deep foundation model has been in development for about two years.
The 5-180CA will replace the 5-170CA in Olinpump’s lineup and is expected to be offered at a lower price point. The Kubota engine will replace the Cummins engine traditionally used in the 5-170CA ball valve pump. The change reflects a move toward an engine manufacturer known for their reliability and performance.
The Cummins engine has also delivered reliable performance in the platform. Olinpump noted that Kubota is widely recognized for their quality control and service support.
