World of Concrete 2025 drew nearly 60,000 attendees and more than 1,500 exhibitors. As always, the show floor was filled with the latest equipment, materials, and construction technology.
This year’s headlines leaned on sustainability with suppliers showcasing low-carbon cements and alternative materials. However, these innovations are still years away from widespread adoption.
Concrete pumps were once again a central feature of the show, while S-Tube pumps filling much of the floor. Only small design variations were separating one manufacturer from another. While exhibitors emphasized automation and advanced electronics, what was less visible at the show was any real conversation about pump simplicity and ease of maintenance.
By contrast, Ball Valve pumps have become rare in today’s market. Only one manufacturer still produces them today at scale with their proven design, serving contractors who continue to depend on their straightforward operation.
The real takeaway from WOC 2025? While materials and sustainability initiatives got the spotlight, the fundamentals in the field remain unchanged. Contractors consistently prioritize pumps that are simple, dependable, and minimizing cost per yard pumped. The gap between what’s showcased at the convention and what’s demanded on the jobsite continues to be clear.
